Meet Seth

Rockingham County raised him. It is where he chose to build his life.

Seth Woodall is an Eden native, husband, father, attorney, and business owner with deep roots in the county.

Home has always been Rockingham County

Seth M. Woodall was born and raised in Eden and graduated from Morehead High School. He earned an associate degree from Rockingham Community College, a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and his law degree from Regent University.

After law school, Seth began practicing at Walker & Melvin LLP. He became a partner and, in 2019, took leadership of the practice as Seth M. Woodall & Associates PLLC. He also owns local real-estate and construction businesses.

Seth and his wife, Stephanie, chose to raise their four children in the community that raised them. His Christian faith shapes his belief in service, personal responsibility, the dignity of every life, and freedom of conscience.

His community work has included serving as general counsel and providing pro bono assistance to HELP Inc. Center Against Violence, which serves people affected by domestic and sexual violence in Rockingham County.

Why he entered the race

Keep the county’s priorities in front of Raleigh.

Seth entered the race after hearing from residents who wanted stronger representation and practical results. His 2026 campaign focused on household costs, local job growth, safe communities, stronger schools, infrastructure, and preserving the freedoms families rely on.

He won the Republican nomination on March 3 for the November 3 general election.
